Twenty four intrepid bug hunters turned up at the Mull Head Interpretation Centre on Saturday when local minibeast expert Dave Musson (ably assisted by his wife Pauline) led a very interesting and enjoyable exploration of the area which resulted in a significant find of peedie beasties!

Slateros, beetles, wolf spiders, millipedes, bugs, slugs and much more were discovered, collected, gawped at, squealed at and then released back into their normal habitat!

A really fascinating look into the world of minibeasts on our doorstep - big thanks to Dave and Pauline for sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm about Deerness' peediest inhabitants!
