Deerness SWRI

Having fun is part and parcel of being a member of the SWRI! The ladies of the Deerness SWRI get together on the 3rd Thursday of every month in the Community Centre to spend time with friends while developing new skills and interests.

The group is open to women of all ages, and junior members and visitors are very welcome.

East Mainland Ladies' Badminton

Meeting every Wednesday from 1:30 - 3:30pm in the Deerness Community Centre from October to April, the East Mainland Ladies' Badminton Club is for any female living in the East Mainland and Kirkwall, who want to play non-competitive badminton, have fun and share a cuppa!

Bookbug is a group for all ages of pre-school children (including babies) and their parents/carers where children have fun while being introduced to songs, action books and rhymes.

Bookbug is held every Monday from 10:30 - 11:30am in the Deerness Community Centre during school term times.
