Forthcoming Musical Events
We are delighted to announce that "Orkney Rocks" have very kindly agreed to come and be the main performers in a musical event planned to take place in the Kirk on either Friday 3rd or Sunday 5th July 2015 (date to be confirmed). They came to entertain the old folks at the Christmas dinner and gave a superb performance which was thoroughly enjoyed by all, so we are really excited to be able to host them once again! They have a fantastic repertoire, with something for everyone! We are trying to get 2 or 3 other local performers as well for the event, so it promises to be something you won't want to miss!!
We are also delighted to announce that the Kirk will once again be hosting a concert as part of the St Magnus festival in June. Exact details of the performer(s), the date and the time have yet to be confirmed, but we will post full details here and on the Facebook page as soon as they have been finalised.
And finally - we can confirm that the 2nd "Something Different, Something Deerness" craft fair will take place in the Community Centre over the weekend of 14/15 November. Make a note in your diary....if the last SDSD Fair is anything to go by, it will be THE place to be!
